I serve as University Chaplain at Southern Methodist University. I’m married to Joni and we have four grown children and four grandchildren. I believe a big part of my particular calling has to do with leadership development in the church and with church renewal (they go hand in hand).

I like to ruminate on all manner of theological, biblical, historical, and cultural topics. I believe followers of Jesus need to be more like members of Issachar’s tribe, able to read the times. Read more
